Advice
Wedding Day Essentials.
Hopefully all goes well on the day but it never hurts to be prepared and but a few things that are worth having to hand just in case, especially if you aren’t getting ready at home on the morning of your wedding:
Putney great pictures package.- A manicure kit including a nail file just in case of a break or snag. Have some nail glue too if you are using artificial nails and need to make a quick repair.
- A small pair of scissors for loose threads, tags and hanging loops on dresses, for getting into packets, maybe even to open a gift from him! Scissors can prove invaluable and will save any risk to your manicure.
- A small sewing kit. A needle and some cotton in the colour of your dress and the bridesmaid’s dresses can save the day for any last minute repairs or sometimes to sew you into the dress. Some clear, white and black thread which can repair just about everything else.
- A small first aid kit, just some small plasters and Compeed for blisters and sore feet especially if you haven’t worn in your shoes beforehand. Some pain killers like Nurofen, just in case. Ask your bridesmaid to pop both these into her bag or a groomsman’s pocket.
- Umbrellas, those big golf ones are best to protect you and your dress just in case the weather turns against you.
- Your mobile phone charger, you can expect a lot of well wishers calling and texting so it’s likely to run down quickly. Just be sure to turn it off in the ceremony!
